Oundle Mill, wins Northamptonshire Restaurant of the Year 2010/11

Local restaurant, Oundle Mill, beat off stiff competition to be named Restaurant of the Year 2010/11 in the prestigious Northamptonshire Food Awards!

Alacer is thrilled to have worked alongside Jeremy and the team at Oundle Mill with their Restaurant and Hotel reservation systems over the last couple of years

The Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards celebrate all that is great about the county’s food and drink, recognise excellence within the county’s dining venues and give a public pat on the back to all those who strive to offer exceptional food and drink experiences whilst maintaining strong connections with the community.

Michelin-starred Jason Atherton presented the award at a packed awards dinner in Holdenby House. There were over 50 entrants in the ‘Best Restaurant’ category and the judging was rigorous including: in depth reviews of the menus and wine lists, investigation into the sourcing of local produce, endorsement from diners at Oundle Mill and finally secretive visits from expert  ‘mystery shoppers’.

Oundle Mill was described as;

Head Chef and Manager Jeremy Medley commented;

“We are delighted to receive such a prestigious award, especially against such strong competition. Oundle Mill is a fabulous building in a beautiful setting with a passionate and dedicated team and we are all excited about the future.”

Speaking from someone who has dined at Oundle Mill on a number of occasions I can say they are fully deserving of this award and from everyone at Alacer, a massive congratulations to Jeremy and the team for this fantastic achievement!!
